In The Year 1966 Rev. Fr. Leonardo Correia, the Principal of Our Lady of Lourdes High School laid the foundation stone. The Institution was established in the year 1966 with only 14 students to impart education through the medium of English. Today it is one of the most leading schools in the Sattari taluka. In the year 2016 on the completion of 50th Glorious years Our Lady of Lourdes High School was granted the permission to start the Higher Secondary School in the Science Stream recognised by the Goa Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary and the Directorate of Education, Porvorim. The school has excelled in Academics, Sports, Cultural and Co-curricular activities. Equal emphasis is laid on the all round development of the child encompassing their Moral, Physical and Spiritual growth. Our Institution is an epitome of discipline and moral values.

SCHOOL WORKING HOURS : 7.30 am - 3.00 pm
OFFICE HOURS : 8.00 am - 2.30 pm
SCHOOL INSTRUCTIONAL HOURS : are from 7.45 - 1.40 pm for Science Stream.
All the students are expected to be inside the classroom at the first bell at 7.40 am. The school gates will be closed after the first bell.

RULES AND REGULATIONS: All rules and regulations of Our Lady of Lourdes Higher Secondary School are printed in school calendar, which every admitted student will receive and has to bring to the school daily.

DISCIPLINE: Our Lady of Lourdes Higher Secondary School is well known for its discipline as well as its academic standard. It is expected from every student who takes admission in this school to follow the traditions of the school. Appropriate action will be taken against those who involve in indiscipline or instigate others to disorderly behaviour. Daily attendance is compulsory. Mobiles and motor vehicles are not allowed in the school complex following the Department rules.
