SCIENCE FAIR – 2019
Science Fair 2019 was organised on 29 th November 2019. Mr. Devidas V. Kotkar, Headmaster of Govt. High School, Shelop Sattari was the special invitee & the resource person for the event, accompanying with Fr. Daniel Afonso - Manager and Fr. Jaime Robert Fernandes - Principal Incharge of Our Lady of Lourdes Higher Secondary School.
The Resource person addressed the participants to advocate creativity, thinking and urged them to include the qualities of self confidence, discipline, innovativeness and perseverance in order to succeed in any field. The event was a grand success and was witnessed by young minds who displayed their innovative ideas before the society at large.

Celebration of Various Important Days

Important days like Independence Day, Republic Day, Goa’s Liberation Day, Teacher’s Day, Children’s Day are celebrated with active participation by the students as well as the faculty members.

Sports

We believe that academic learning and education complement each other. We therefore stress on physical education and sports activities along with the academic curriculum for the all-round personality development of our students. We have full Football ground, Volley ball court, Basket ball court as well as huge open space for the children to play and to keep themselves fit.

Vanamahotsava Celebration

Plants are plays a very important role in our eco system. To mark this important day every year we celebrate Vanamahotsava by planting of fruit baring trees in an around the campus as we believe health is wealth which we enjoy from the prime air supported by the greenery around us.

State Level Easy competition organised by Directorate of Education in colebration with the State Council of Education Research & Training, Porvorim (SCERT) on celebration of “ 70th anniversary of the adoption of our Constitution on topic “Role of Youth on building a strong India-a-view through the lens of fundamental duties of our Constitution” 1st Prize won by Ms. Razina Kadri & 2nd Place Ms.Mehvish I Khan

House wise Chess competition was held for the students and Yellow house secure first place.
Declamation competition was held for the students. Students was taken for rally on the occasion of World Literacy Day.
